This two-sided piece is a detailed replica of a monstrance, a vessel that carries the consecrated Host in processions and is displayed at certain devotional ceremonies. The center piece shows a circular pane in the middle (where the Host would be displayed) surrounded by a sunburst of metal rays positioned on top of an ornate stand. The back side shows the same design as the front.
